Aces High Fokker E.III

Does anyone know anything about the black and red Fokker E.III that Major Gresham 'knocks out' in the start of the 1975 Aces High film? I remember reading something about it in a book around 1998 and it was build in Britain.

Thanks

It was indeed built in Britain and is still here, unfortunately it rarely sees the light of day these days. I was built by doug Bianchi and is still owned by Personal Plane services and his son Tony Bianchi. I belive that at the moment it is in the museum at Compton Abbas. will check on that one!
