WoWser, nice job on the instrument cluster, Herr Drongo.
RE 8, here.
No real probs on the wing hookup.
A brass stud will work as good as a go thru.
I've a 2c to do so am looking fwd to additional pics of this build, mate.
Gave away a 2e @ Christmas fo' de exchange.

I have the RE8 as well. Next Aeroclub kit I buy will be the BE.2c. The pics I took are no reflection on how good it looks in real life.
The wing on the 12a was done with small brass rods helping to pin them to the white metal mounting cross bit.
I have drilled all the rigging holes already to take Bobs Buckles. But will use the wire you are sending to do control wires.

It's as if I could reach out and tap the glass with my knuckle! Great work. You know what they say--"Slow and steady wins the race."

Thanks guys. Just wish i could get my lighting right for taking pics. I use the fluro that is over my model desk. Plus use the macro setting on camera with no flash. If I use the flash it whites out the pic.

Ross,
Try stepping back a couple of feet and using the zoom to bring the image in closer. You might also experiment with a tissue as a diffuser over the flash.
Good luck (and nice work).
