Question Lt. Merle Livingstone Green

Hi All:

I'm helping a friend who is researching the Great War Honour Roll for Walhachin, British Columbia, Canada. One of the names on the roll is M. L. Green. The following entry is listed on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission web site:

Name: GREEN, MERLE LIVINGSTONE
Initials: M L
Nationality: United Kingdom
Rank: Lieutenant
Regiment: Royal Air Force
Unit Text: 65th Sqdn.
Age: 26
Date of Death: 06/08/1918
Additional information: Son of Mrs. Jennie Green.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: IV. E. 13.

Can anyone provide me with any additional information on Lt. Merle Livingstone Green? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Garth

Green was killed on 6 August 1918 when his Camel, D8248, collided with Camel F6069 flown by Lieutenant Sydney Arnold Smith (also killed).
