Arthur Vigers Memorabilia

I have several items relating to Arthur Vigers marriage on august 10th 1929, news paper cuttings, invitation and hymn sheet and photos. I would hope that they may be of interest to someone

Dear SSmith:

The PIPE Here...and since Arthur Vigers WAS a fellow pipe enthusiast, from a photo in the Osprey book on Dolphin & Snipe aces...(see attached photo from it, at the end of this reply)...

I'm thinking of someday doing up his 87 Squadron Dolphin up in 1/4th size for RC Giant Scale flying!

His Dolphin, C4159, was one of those fitted with Lewis guns way out atop the lower wing, one per side, and that fact ALONE makes that aircraft interesting...

...but when I got the Osprey book on Dolphin & Snipe Aces, and found at least FOUR members of 87 Squadron were also pipe-fans, I HAD to do Vigers' aircraft someday!

I've even got a "daily briar" that looks QUITE a bit like Vigers' straight stem one in the photo...so an RC Giant version of Vigers' aircraft IS just too tempting to resist!

Please let me know some more details of what you've got on Vigers...you can "PM", or "private message", me more about it!
