Ernst Kaufmyer, Hofmann Abteilungskommnadeur - photo album etc 1940

I have Ernst's photograph album, which includes his cap badge and his jacket insignia, numerous photographs of Ernst and his unit also one of a British plane they shot down. I wonder if anyone might know anything about him or like to have a stab at identifying the type of plane it was? Thanks. Colleen

Thanks for your much needed advice on this - and Cadet's! I've now got my photobucket account and scanned some of Ernst's album pics, however I'm getting a notice from photobucket that the service is either not available or I need to reset my browser settings when I try to submit the pics. So will wait for a while and hope to be able to submit these later. Colleen
