Your help with Lozenge 4-color Pattern ....
Hi,
I am very new here. My son is building a Revell Fokker DVII @ 1/28 scale.
Does anyone have the 4-color upper & lower lozenge pattern that he can print out on decal sheet to apply to the model.
I have photoShop and can re-size or manipulte the file in anyway.
Thanks for the help,

I have a PhotoShop file with 4 alpha layer masks that would allow you to print 4-color lozenge onto decal sheet. Color is another issue entirely -- I can send you digital "reference chips", but there's no guarantee that your printer will output the correct shades. Let me know if you'd like these & I'll email them to you.

Welcome to womenfly2.

Welcome to the Forum, you will find it interesting and addictive. Can you tell us about the Polish Fok.D.VIII, I think sure it is a reproduction. Are you flying the machine? Any way, welcome to the Forum.
Blue skies,

Hey Dan,
That plane is my D8 kit that Karl Jacobs built and took first place in
at the WRAM show in New York last February. He took that photo
and a friend of his was flying the model. He gave me more details
on the history of that plane, let me see if I can find it. Neat photo...

Hi!
Yes Dan, that is Glenns Fokker DVIII model kit ... I just had to use the photo, just love that plane. Glenn hope you don't mind? By the way fantastic models and web site you have. Love the DVI too! Is the full kit out yet?
My Dad owned a hobby shop in Spotwood NJ back in the 60's. We build and flew all types of R/C models. My dad, Edward L. Price and my Uncle, Don Carkhuff, were features many times in articles appearing in Model Airplane News magazine. Their plans of a AT-6 and SNJ Texans are still one of the top selling plans they offer in Model Airplane News magazine.
My Uncle Don still builds and his models are still seen in various Model magazines today, Dad passed away a few years ago.
Glenn, my dad and I had the very first 1/4 scale Fokker DVIII at Rinebeck NY back in 1965. All scratched built using a OR chain saw engine. Took first in scale. Nick Ziroli and Lou Perati (? spelling) were there with their 1/4 scale DR1 and Nieuport planes too.

I used to go to your dad's shop when I was a kid. Used to fly at Thompson Park. Those were good times. I was a young college kid flying with the retired guys at the field in the morning. All of them were WWII vets and full of great stories. Welcome. This is a great site full of very learned folks who are quite free with their knowledge.
