Question Info on MvR correspondence?

(I'm not exactly sure where this would go, but I took my best guess and if it's wrong I guess the moderator can move it... )

I need one more piece of help you everyone! Ya'll seem to be pretty experienced so if anyone can help me out with this I would be really grateful.

It was implied to me by a certain unnamed third party ( Don't I sound mysterious...) that there was a more than fair amount of correspondence between the Richthofen kin floating around on the internet IF you knew how to find it. Unfortunately, I don't know how to find it. I'm researching right now and if ANYONE has ANY information about ANYTHING relating to this, I would be most grateful.

Alexandria- Just about everything on MvR has been documented in a book or multiple books, including Mother of Eagles with MvR's mother writing on conditions in wartime Germany and the tribulations of having two sons with a combined total of 120 victories, never mind baby brother. Exactly what are you trying to find? There are probably 2-4 dozen books on MvR and thousands of articles in magazines. Googling MvR will bury you in sites.

Googling (+yahooing +altavistaing) HAS buried me in sights. In fact 100s and 100s of sights that had to be sorted through and once they were sorted through there was only about two dozen that yielded up anything of significance beyong the big three (birth, death, number of kills).

I was watching a writers conference and they were talking about using the internet in research. They said that, if you knew where to look, you could get a wealth of corespondance on the internet. Firstly, I hate it when they say, "If you know where to look." If I knew where to look I wouldn't be watching you right now...

Alexandria- Tell us what you are trying to learn or prove, and we can send you to the right source. For example,a large collection of MvR memorabilia from the Carisella collection was only recently auctioned off. Or there are excellent translations of the units histories in which MvR and LvR served. Need a hint. There is no golden chalice of MvR information unknown to the public.
