Hello,

I am looking for the ID of the fokker triplane that is featured on the cover of Squadron Signal Publication's "The Fokker Dr.I in action". From all the pictures i have seen on the cover the only numbers i can tell are:

404/17

I can't find the book in my area and no one can order it. Who flew this bird? What Jasta was it and the pilot assigned to? Any help?

Hi Dtenny,
Fokker Dr.I 404/17 was assigned to Jasta 12 and was flown by the Kommandeur of JG 2 Hptm. Adolf Ritter von Tutschek in the spring 1918. He was shot down in this plane on 15. Mar 1918 near Brancourt, supposedly by Lt. HB Redler, 24.Sqdn. RFC as his 4th of an eventuel 10 victories.
