Could anyone help me with pictures/plans for the interior of the DFW CV?- I've surfed through and scanned through all available data I can find but for such an important aircraft details are illusive.
Also general details such as where/how ammo was stored in German 2 seaters and radio types used-pics/details etc....
can anyone help me with this- I've a small company in the UK that makes WW1 aircraft kits and I'm trying to get my kits as realistic as possible.
Many Thanks

I can't help you, but I've forwarded your message to the WWI Models Mailing List
http://www.wwi-models.org/Someone should help.
And, boy!
I really hate you!
Why?
Because of scale. I build 1/72.

Hi G

Thanks for that- hopefully someone could help and sorry about not doing 1/72- I don't do my own casting, so the cost of producing smaller scale kits would be too high (for me and any customer). I'm considering accessories in 1/72 though.

Cheers

Justin,
A DFW C.V would be fabulous. I can't wait. Keep up the good work.

Windsock DataFile # 53 on the DFW C. V has the information you are looking for.

Lots of good pictures of the interior on pages 30 and 31.

Hi Guycanuck

Thanks for the suggestion but windsock datafiles are always the first reference I check out, as you said their are many useful pics. (the pages you talk about have been open on my desk for the past month!) but I'm actually looking for even more detail. I can guess what the interior configuration would be like to a certain extent, based on other types but I would much prefer acurracy.
Anyway cheers for the suggestion.

J
Almost forgot- thanks for the support Tim, I'll be in touch when ready as usual (about 3-4 weeks)
