2Lt H B Billings - a Canadian?

2Lt H B Billings POW/DOW after the downing of his Nieuport (according to Henshaw TSTB) on 9 August 1917.

I would like to know his nationality. Was this man a Canadian?

If not - did any other Canadian die in a Nieuport over German area this day?

TIA.

VBR
