Technical Drawings for the D VII

Hello All,
New to this forum but am getting into WWI aircraft modeling. Just bought the 28th scale D VII this weekend and am after all the info concerning this kit that I can put hands on. Have read the recent FSM article concerning fixes--but am now after a copy of the Jan 99 FSM article and a set of cockpit technical drawings. Am also considering buying a few of the Copper State details for the kit. All help appreciated.
thx,
Brian

The Fokker D.VII Axle wing was not finished in a lozenge pattern.

I'll say - but the best part is that at least a few of the authors mentioned in Stephen's list are members here and always more than willing to answer our questions.

Welcome to the 'Drome!

Brian,
S! and welcome to the 'Drome! Stephen has given you some great printed sources, you'll be busy for quite a while with all of those.
Here's a link I think you will find interesting and of value:

http://www.fokker-team.de/

Achim Engels and his team are reproducing Fokkers using the same methods as were used during their original manufacture. (Since I used to do a lot of living history, and subscribe to the "learn by doing" method of historical research in many instances, I love what they are doing.) They sell quite a few CD's of plans, etc. and their website is a great source as well.
Aside from tapping all of the knowledge here, you might try this group as well if you have any interest in e-mail groups:

http://www.wwi-models.org/

Many of the members of this group are here on the 'Drome as well. Enjoy! BTW, I see by your profile that you are in the US Army. Thank you for your service to our country!

Warren
