Hi Peter,
They do make some very nicely detailed figures. Takes a little talent and lots of patience to paint them. But if you follow their detailed instructions from the web site (and spend a small fortune on all the paint colors they recommend), you can have a very realistic looking figure.

I wish they made a bigger "Spike" for my 80" span Eindecker.

I do have an "Eddie" for my 1/4 scale Siemens Schuckert. With a Little modification, he should look pretty good in the cockpit.
