F.E.2b search
Looking for any information on scale model kit of F.E.2b. This is the aircraft from which Frederick Libby scored his first victory. If a kit is not available, a good three view drawing would be very helpful Thanks for your help and happy modeling, TeeKay

Aeroclub makes a nice model of the FE2b in 1/48 scale. For drawings and detail pictures I recommend the FE2b datafile from Albatros Publications. Both should still be available (at least both are still listed on the Roll Models website.)

Model FE2b
Thanks Pete, Aeroclub is the place to start. 1/48th is the right scale for what I'm looking for too. While we're on the subject, who can you recomend for 1/48th scale Nieuport 11 ? Thanks, TeeKay

Just for kicks, and because I'm curious: is there a kit of the FE2B available in 1/72?
Regards,

Hi Drew,
IIRC, Blue Rider or Phoenix made a vac in the nineties, but I've to search in my many boxes to find it.
If I can find it, I'll describe it in a next message.
Best regards from the country of fruity beers

Formaplane produced an FE.2b vacuform kit some years ago. You can find it on eBay every now and then.

Thomas;
If you have trouble finding a Aeroclub FE 2b let me know, I have one I could part with.
