Question French Cockpit Instruments

I'm trying to find some information and images of french cockpit instrumenetation. Memorial Flight has some later examples, but no early information.

I'm interested in ASI, Altimeter, Compass, Inclimometer mainly, but others welcomed as well.

There is a lot of data on German and British instruments, but very little on French.

Can anyone assist ?

Hi Mossie,

What kind of information are you looking for in particular? I have a French Jaeger tachometer that is often seen in French aircraft of the time. I can send you some close up shots (front and back) of it if that's what your looking for. What I have seen of French cockpits is limited. I should be able to find some photos of Nieuport XVII and Spad VII/XIII, as well as Breguet XIV. I will have to take a look.

regards,

Darren

Hi Mossie,

I think that you will lose much of the detail if I post them here on the forum, as the maximum file size is 50 KB I think. Send me a PM with your Email address, so I can send quality images to you.

regards,

Darren
