Cross & Cockade Intl. Vol. 35, #3 2004

Very nice issue folks! Italy, British and Americans represented well here! Colour spread on the British Air memorial and Russell Smith contributes his Blue Birds and the Golden Triumvirate paintings to the back cover. Caproni Bomber on the front and a piece on the photo album of the 148th Aero.

Yawn....old news Steven, gotta keep up man!

Issue 4 arrived yesterday, Britain, USA, and Canada well represented. Some nice non-psychedelic Felixstowe and Curtis flying boats depicted.

Mike,

Many of us here across the pond get C&C delivered by landline mail (which means the slowest boat that can be found). I also received 35,3 Wednesday. Good to hear that 35,4 is another winner. R.

My Gallery
Roger Tisdale at C&C sent me mockup of the back cover, but I haven't actually seen the issue yet (I get mine via snail mail as well). Looking forward to seeing it.

My Gallery
Russ
I got mine quite a while ago - a couple of weeks anyways
I'm in CT so i'd think we would get them at the same time.

in any case
Your artwork on the back cover looks great.
Looks better in print than it does online.

C&C consistently does an excellent job of color reproduction

What you guys need is an e-journal of Cross & Cockade, and we need an e-journal of OTF for over here. Then they could be emailed straight out to us, and wouldn't take up so much space.

MikeW; e-journals do have their good points but hard copies don't corrupt when your puter goes south! Maybe e-journal that we could burn to disc without lock outs? Saving the trees is not a large concern for me so keep sending those hard copies. But since you mentioned it...how about a little snappier mail delivery rather than slow boat to China from Liverpool? Just wafting in my pipe dreams folks.
