Tobias,

It's spotty at best, but limiting the time span from Dec17 - Jan18 I have the following:

C.O. Oblt. Heinz-Hellmuth von Wühlisch (P), 10Dec17 - 23Jan18.

Vzfw. Kurt Gerschel (P), KIA 29Dec17
Uffz. Lehnert (G), POW 29Dec17
Uffz. Liebnitz (G), Oct17 - Jul18
Uffz. Satajek (G), (Jan18)
Uffz. Slotha (G), Oct17 - Jul18
Uffz. Konstantin Winkler (P), Dec17 - May18
Gefr. Robert Wirth (P), Sep17 - Apr18

And, of course, you know about Uffz. August Beckedorf (G) and Uffz. Hermann Märzhäuser (P). Hope that helps a little.

Commander SchuSta 10

Is this the same von Wühlisch that was Boelcke's observer in 1915?
Anyone know when he became a pilot?
I think I read somewhere that he was a war criminal during WW2.

Matt.

Here we are. A little biography....

The service record you referenced answers both your questions. Obs. with FFA 62 8May15 - 31Aug15, pilot training 27Sep15 - 27Oct16. R.

Hi Rick,

Yes I know. I found that site just after posting the topic.
Thought I'd rather look silly by answering my own question, than not sharing the answer with anybody who didn't know it!

Hi

I have that Uffz Gilger (P) was the team-mate to Satajek in Jan 1918...

I have that Vfw Max Willmann (P) was there in Dec 17, pilot to Noerthen...

I have that Gefr Martin Meinke (G) was there from Sep 17 to ca Jan 18...

It is a possibility that Uffz Georg Münch (P) still was within the unit in late 1917...

Flg Krause (P) left the unit on 9 Dec 17...

It is also a possibility that both Uffz Eydner (P) and Flg Biegelsack (G) were there in late 1917...

Hi Gunnar,

in another thread we were discussing Gefr. Paul Meinke (G) who died on 1 December 1917. Do you think there were two Meinkes in SchuSta 10 or is the man´s complete name Paul Martin Meinke or Martin Paul Meinke?

Hm...you got me Rammjäger....

However, there actually existed two different Meinke (double-pack again.. )
The first is the Gefr Paul Meinke who died 1 Dec 17 at Vendhuille. I dont have weekly Kofl 2 for this week so I dont knew the circumstances around his death...
Schusta 10 had moved from Flanders to the Cambrai area (2 Army) around 22 Nov 17...

The second is Vfw Martin Meinke who died on 30 Mar 18 at Folies. CGAS give the unit as Schlasta 5, a unit which was serving within 18 Army. I dont have the Kofl 18 which could explain the circumstances...
The Meinke within Schusta 5 scored two victories early 1918 within this unit...

So the reasonable conclusion is that I have mixed up them, as I "thought" that Meinke had been transferred from Schusta 10 to Schusta 5..argh...

However, I stand corrected as I dont have any original sources which can support me... lush:
