Roland ?

In Ohio Historical Magazine "Timeline" Jan/Feb 1993 is article on US Airman
Roland W. Richardson of the 213 Aero Squadron.
On page 27 is print of French postcard of captured GErman Aircraft.
THe one in the foreground is a two seater in camaflogue but aircraft "Skin"
is torn off. In background is a two seater (Roland?). The only ID on this
aircraft is a large black "2" in a white square under rear gunner's platform.
The "Iron Cross" is black within a white outline. Both Iron Cross and white
surrouding it are a "Pattee Cross" style.
What Artillery Obs unit did the second aircraft belong to?
