One flight known to have used white roman numerals I,II, III, IV, V, VI after cocade on fusealge (source: British Aviation Sqn Markings of WW1, Rogers).
I would doubt there was any standard sqn marking as the unit was formed in late April of 1918 and there had been issued an order in the prior month that bombing sqns and recon eliminate standard squad markings and only retain flight letters or numbers.
