Dear Forumites (especially German aficiandos and experts

)
I am seeking a combat report for an action involving 4 Rolands on 23 September 1916 in the Bapaume-Mory-Cambrai vicinity. They would have engaged a Nieuport 17. Time was 5:30-6:30 pm. The Nieuport was forced down, but I don't know what the Germans decided about it.
If any of you have copies of reports to check, I would greatly appreciate any details you may provide. I live in the States and a trip to find records is simply out of the question. In the absence of assistance here, any online possibilities for email queries would be fabulous. I know nothing about German records. Is there a book for them comparable to The Sky Their Battlefield?
Thanks and I would be happy to return a research favour.
Cheers,
Scarlett
