The DVD released in Australia is just the movie, no extra goodies just the ability to freeze frame at all the good bits with no video flickering. The plans look quite good as well.

Hi Ginger,

I have the U.S. version, and IMHO it is well worth getting. My version is in the widescreen format, which allows the viewer to see the movie as it was shown at the theaters in 1966. I previously owned the VHS tape version, and there is no comparison between the two. Couple this with a HDTV or Plasma T.V, and your in for a real treat. I have seen this movie well over a hundred times (it is my favorite ), and I noticed details that for the longest time were hidden by the T.V format and blurred analog images. The aerial sequences are both breathtaking and stunning! The only extras would be the theatrical trailers and subtitles. By all means get this one!

regards
