I am considering to join the C&C folks. I have seen one (old) issue of their journal. How´s the journal been lately? Has there been good technically oriented articles? Pilot reports?

I did also see one issue of Over the Front and that was a major disappointment as the articles seemed to handle topics that have no technical content at all.

Kosh, over the front is primarily a history journal. For technical content I suggest you subscribe to WWI Aero. Published by Leo Opdyke in Poughkeepsie, New York.

If you look on the C&C website you will find am extract from each article in the current journal. Should certainly give you a flavour.

How about Cross&Cockade? I am aware of WW 1 Aero. In fact, I have maybe 20-30 WW1A issues. I usually buy them as lots of several issues via a friend of mine in the US to save on shipping costs while speeding it up. But, how´s the C&C been lately?

Jeez - just click this Cross & Cockade.

Have a look at the RAF engines feature, see if it is technical enough for you.
