Hi all

There were apparently at least three different Hptm Schulz serving within the German Air Force during the War...

I hope that someone can help me identfying any of them or giving some hints...!

The first Hptm Schulz served initially within IR 21 and was promoted to Hptm on 24 Dec 1914...

The second Hptm Schulz served initially within FB (Flieger Bataillon) 4 and was promoted 25 Nov 1916...

The third Hptm Schulz served originally within IR 166 and he was promoted to Oblt on 25 Feb 1915. Later on 27 Jan 1918 he was promoted further to Hptm...

Any added information, like first name, date of birth, serving informations etc etc are highly appreciated...

Great information Glenn...!

You dont happened to knew any flying units Franz served within..?
However you have solved much of the puzzle and again thanks for that..!

I also discovered that the second (unidentified Schulz) most certain was the Schulz who started the War as observer in FFA 2 as this unit actually was formed out of flyers from FB 4...anyone knew something about this fellow...?
