Hi all,

The metal fittings of the Sopwith aircraft (the Pup in my case) were painted black, as I understand it. Did they use a primer first? Which colour?

In other words - what colour would be visible if the black paint was scratched or worn?

Anyone knows if the armoured seat was painted black too?

Best regards,

Magnus
