Hi
Does anyone knew the first name or the date of birth of this German flyer..?? Mersmann apparently was the leader of Sonderstaffel 1 in the autumn of 1916. Then he later become commander of FAA 237 in the spring of 1917... Either before or after these two mentioned units he probably served within KG 2.... He was promoted in Apr 1917 and he served initially within IR 170. For any sort of help, thanks in advance  Gunnar |
