I am searching for a photo thar shows the instruments of Spad XIII cockpit. I had a link to a website that have good photos of the cockpit and closer detail photos of each clock.
I lost that link and now I have no information to include in the instruction sheet of the 1/32 decal that includes this detail items to identify each clock and were those must be placed...

FCM;

What scale are you talking about - 1/48th or 1/32nd? Franly I would take either one of them - come to think of it both would be fine.
Instruments faces too !!! now that is spoiling us!

This Spad XIII decal is for the Hobbycraft 1/32 kit, and there are the instrument faces too (all my WW1 decals in 1/72 and 1/48 have those items also...) The 1/48 and 1/72 decals for SPADs will bew available soon (with very more options).

I was asked on the WW1 email list to help coming up with schemes that FCM could make into decals.

While there are a lot, I would say the first place to look would be the Osprey book on SPAD XII-XIII Aces. Not only look at the color profiles, but also the photos of machines not profiled in color.

There are of course many more schemes one could do for SPADs, but this would be a good start.

And since there are "new" 1/48th and 1/72nd SPAD VII kits, how about decals for that machine, as well? Again, start with the Osprey book and go from there.

Yes Matt, the first step is the Osprey books, and I usually look at the photos to finish the decals. I do not know why, but many times I have found serious mistakes in the Osprey color profiles comparing to the photos of the real machines in the pages of the same book... One the largest mistakes already found was the profile of Fritz Rumey's Alb D.V: If you observe the color profile (showing the left side) and the photo of the real airplane (pg.22, showing the right side) you will see that is impossible to join the two sides... aviation arts are very beautiful to see, but those artists are not modelers, so they do not have the commitment with the authenticity that we have...
The 1/32 scale is a sector that I am tried to reinforce, therefore I believe to be a great scale for WW1, but I will not leave the smaller scales (I am a 1/48 modeler)...

P.S. The images showing the instruction plans is already available in my website:Spad XIII 1/32 decal
