Does anyone have a photo of the SPAD XIII flown by Ted Parsons when he served in SPA.3 in late 1918? I'm doing a model of the machine marked with #4, tricolored band and the stork. I need to know if the nose panels were open or had the covers attached. Was there a general rule as which planes had these covers & which did not? Most photos of American SPADS seem to have the panels removed, such as on Luke's plane. I cannot locate any photos of SPA.3 SPADS of this time period, so anyone's guess would be welcome.
Thanks,
Dave Calhoun
