Every once in awhile, I like to check the guestbook that's available here at The Aerodrome. Although there is a line at the top encouraging people to post questions here at the forum, I notice a number of people posting their questions in the guestbook. I can only imagine the disappointment when they don't get a response.

I would encourage everyone here to peruse the guestbook on occasion, if you can. I don't know what else can be done to direct people here for their questions, so it may be that the only way they'll get answers is if people go to the guestbook and respond directly.

Just thought I'd post this while I was thinking of it.

John,
Good post. I do the same thing and try and answer what I can. Have had great responses and some great conversations with people. Only one negative response from a woman asking for unit information - wrote her and she wrote back saying she didn't 10 people writing her to tell her this info !!!!! So on the good side some others must be looking on the guestbook as well.
Just avoid cranky geneologists !

Best wishes,
John g.
