Does anyone have any information about the ballistics of the Hotchkiss guns used on the Morane-Saulnier Type "N", such as muzzle velocity, bullet weight (in grains), rate of fire, etc.? How did it compare with the Lewis gun in these respects?
Also, how was it's ammunition fed? I think I remember reading somewhere that the Hotchkiss was fed from 25-round stripper clips. Is that correct? If so, how many of these clips were typically carried on a Morane-Saulnier? (In other words, what was the ammunition capacity for a Morane-Saulnier Type "N"?)

TIA,
Dean
