Can someone give me more information about the precise circumstances of the death of Langley Frank William Smith on 13th june 1917 ? Can his death be linked with the Gotha bombing raid on London ?

Hi Wouter,
According to Above the Trenches, page 343: L.F.W. Smith was killed when his Camel N6362 broke up while he was stunting over the German fighter airfield of Nieuwmunster.
Trevor Henshaw's "The sky their battlefield, page 188: Interception of 16 Gothas, 12pm, broke up, wing lost, fell 5 miles nw Bruges-Ghent.
