We all know about Albatros DIIIs in Austrian
service. Can anyone enlighten me on Albatros DI
or DII in Austrian service? Were DI or DII ever
built in Austria or store-bought from Germany?

There were a few D-II's in service, but I do not believe there were any D-I's.

There were no Albatros D.I built.

There was a total of 16 Albatros D.II Series 53 built by Oef (Oesterreichische Flugzuegfabrik A.G.) by May 1917

Scotty
