Having just about managed to finally finish my Eduard kit I have got to the tricky part that overall colour. Does anyone have an opinion as to the correct shade or a close Humbrol/Xtracolor approximation?

The Albatros Prod. booklet 'WWI Warplanes" suggests that the Floh was painted in a very pale grey OR very pale blue. This is based on the absence of white outlines to the national markings and the light appearance in various photos. Maybe Humbrol #28 Camo Grey or #23 Duck Egg Blue? I painted my Floh in light blue. Looks nice with the contrasting black crosses and black wing and tail edging. Cliff |
