Claudio,

From "Airmen Died in the Great War", he was with 249 Sqn. RAF and was 'Kwf' = accidently killed while flying, non-operational duties. R.

Further from "Airmen Died", Capt. A Holland, AMII E Marriott and AMII F E Wilson, 249 Sqn. Kwf in Curtiss H-16 N4070 with 2Lt F J Atkins who was injured, UK.

Further, according to Ray Sturtivant's and Gordon Page's "Royal Navy Aircraft Serials and Units 1911-1919", the aircraft joined 249 Sqn on 20 August, 1918. "Hit ship's mast on River Tay, crashed and burst into flames", and gives the casualty information above.

Frank.
