Starting off I have started assembling the instruments. The first great deal that has fallen my way is this Bamberg Armee III Kompass. After a light cleaning, replacing the glass and servicing with alcohol I think it will be a great touch to the cockpit.
Compass.JPG As you can see is the wire hanging out of the bottom. Last night I decided to see if I put a AAA or two on the wires if it might lite up. As you can see the light does still work. Compass Lit.JPG I have also purchased a Japanese Anemometer which appears to be a direct copy of the German variant. I will see in the future if it can be made to replicate the Wilhelm Morell version. Anenometer.JPG |
