I also think it's from the stable of good old Mr Junkers. Though I don't know a number. You certainly have a good selection of unusual types!

Breguet. This is not good enough to get a point . Need the correct designation. The rules of the Breguet game are very strict on this point.

It conforms to the description of J6. My source do not provide photo or drawing. Is it flown? Junkers Hochdecker J6 reported as incomplete at Dessau (Ico) by the end of the War.

I have also seen it said that the J6 prototype was not completed, so if that is true it obviously never flew. That may explain a lack of photographs. Also, there is a suggestion that the designation was J12, although it is clearly not the postwar J12, and that would have been out of order for the time. It conforms to the drawing on the Junkers web page

Absolutely right Rbailey, you're the best

The Junkers Parasol J6 with Siemens Sh III rotary engine of 160 hp was an extremely small machine. It was completely built but remained in the workshop. Famous fighter aces were delighted to see the machine and wanted to fly it. In august 1918 Lt. Gotthard Sachsenberg asked Junkers when the machine would be ready to fly.
The very high landing was necessary by the use of a relatively great diameter of 2,8 meter. The petrol (and oil ?) was carried in a detachable tank beneath the fuselage.

[ Data from : Wolfgang Wagner. Von der J1 bis zur F13, ISBN 3-88064-015-7 ]

A masterly plane, very unknown but it really existed. I think it will be a challenge for the model building group of this Forum.

Score Board at the end of Round 17 is:

5 Varese2002
3 Rbailey
1 Gilles
1 Cruze
1 Colin A Owers
1 bshatzer
1 Eric Goedkoop
1 JohnMacG
1 ercoupepilot
1 Breguet
1 joegertler

Rbailey is on his way up
