Chip, I built a bunch of these for my grandsons using flat toothpicks for struts and they were really pretty neat. Fun and easy to build. A refreshing change from the harsh mistress "Authenticity". We had been to Rhinebeck for the WWI show and I made the kids a complete playset. Made balsa pilots; the "Black Baron", "Percy Goodfellow",Pierre Loop De Loop" and "Trudy Truelove". Built them an exploding "Sausage Factory" that threw balsa sausages into the air when they bombed it. They had a ball with it. But I digress. Recommend these as a fun project. Can't beat the prices and your done in an afternoon.
