Looking for info on RAF UNITS
Hello; I am looking for any source which lists the RAF Wings and RAF Brigades of the BEF by Armies, RAF squadrons during the western front campaigns. What squadrons were in which of these higher echelon formations at what time periods. Some sort of order of battle for the squadrons at the front. The home establishment wings and brigades would also be useful, but the frontline forces are most important to know. What books would list these orders of battle for the RAF war? Has anyone taken the time to compile these battle orders? Does WAR IN THE AIR hold them? I'd really appreciate any input about where to look for this data?? Thanks, FM
