Greg,
A copy was listed a few weeks ago, 1 bid, under $30.00. Someone got a great buy. I was happy to get a copy @ $60 several years ago. Worth much more than I paid for it.
Regards
John

Glad I bought my copy when it first came out. Did you see how much they wanted for shipping? I think it was about $42. It's a big book but ouch!

Hi John,
Yup! I see that it sold for 53 British pounds. That's a bit more respectable, plus some considerable postage. It's well worth two or three times that, IMHO.

I got my mint condition book on eBay several years ago. I wonder what it's worth today as I'm considering selling it?

This should be a bit of a lesson.... don't wait to acquire a book you want... the really good books may not go into a second edition.....

I had heard of Alex Revell's 56 Squadron book project several years before it was actually published in 1995. I immediately bought a copy as soon as it was available. I have since read in this forum that initial sales were highly disappointing. It boggles the mind. Such a famous squadron with its history so lavishly presented . . . It really deserves a second printing.

I got mine when released. I have said repeatedly that it is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE WW1 book in my Library. I cant imagine why sales would have been disappointing. It has everything one could want. Well written History. Drama, Outstanding Photos, well researched history, on and on. Then add the Excellent color profiles!
