If we do not make a suitable exaple of these terrorists or they may think us weak. When we take charge of our destiny, there is no longer a need to ask permission of other people society or sniveling countries. When you ask permission, you give someone veto power. All the talk needs to end. Our enemies haven't failed yet because they aren't dead yet. Stephen, although I am in broad agreement with much of what you say, for me these are separate issues to the main point. I am finding attitudes and responses within me that I would not have recognized prior to the outrages of September 11th. I am not proud of these new attitudes, neither am I ashamed of them.
On September 11th we were all eye witness to the cold blooded murder of seven thousand people and the attempted murder of tens of thousands more. There are no excuses, no extenuating circumstances, no justification and no buts. Just my opinion and not worth a light.
