ANd you know they have to ruin every movie with a love segment......

Unlike The Blue Max where they kept the love part kinda short and not a main focus (woooohooooo on Ursulas bum-n-b***s).

I would love a 2 hour Aviation flick with no booty........Its bad enough they arent following the REAL storyline of the Laf. Esc.. Adding Eugene Bullard who wasnt in the actual N.124 but yet in the Lafayette Flying Corps......People these days

I totally agree with the other......The FIghtinf Sequences will make or break the film (err i mean digital made movie).

Lets all hope this one dont fall in the gutter........

This Can't Be Good...i Checked The Flyboys Web Site And It No Longer Up.
What The Heck Happened To It?
I Also was hearing they had a invitation only showing last month and they have no US distributors to date so thats not looking to good if he wants it in theaters by November 2006.I have seen a list of movies coming out for the 2006 season and flyboys was not on the list.Oh my..
I hope this is not really the case so if baldeagle knows about it please tell.
Later Days,
Jep

The Director told me a couple of weeks ago that it would come out in theaters in September.

Hi Baldeagle,

That's great news! Thanks. I'm looking forward to it with great anticipation, as is everybody else here.

Any of that Hollywood stuff is "believe it when it happens", but having seen the finished cut I liked it better than a lot of other movies I've seen, including, recently, "The Pink Panther", and I like Steve Martin. They shouldn't have a problem finding a distributor, and probably have by now. That article was written after a lunch we had the day after the screening, and potential distributors were calling already. I don't like to bug them asking questions about distribution and stuff, but was told a couple of weeks ago that it was coming out in September.

I've already been contacted about a couple of other movie projects, very interesting, with airplanes of course, not WW1 though.... Again, I'll belive it when they happen. I just hope that more airplane movies get made.

Can anybody tell me what's wrong with this picture? Aside from the fact that the sun is shining over RAF Halton....

Well That's Good News.
I Can't Wait For A Good Old Fashion WWI Airplane Movie To Hit The Big Screen.
Off To A Different Topic For A Moment.
They Need To Make A WWII Movie About The 352nd "Blue Nose Bastards Of Bodney" Someone Really Should Take That Up.
They Were Really A Great Bunch Of P-51 Fighter Pilots.
I Have Had The Chance To See "The Last Reunion" About The 352nd And I Told Bob Powel Who Flew With The 352nd They Need To Make A Hollywood Type Of Movie About You Guys.He Said "I'm Too Old To Push For It Maybe Someday They Will Long After We Take Our Last Flights".
All In All There A Great Bunch Of Pilots Of The 352nd.It Be Cool To Honor Them With A Great Movie.
Later Days,
Jep
