I bought both my Bristol Fighter and now the Fokker through this eBay seller... http://search.ebay.com.au/_W0QQsassZhobbymaster Didn't have to bid. He had them both as "buy it now." So I got both kits well before anyone else downunder here.

I have several sources. One in the Czech Republic. Though he does not work for Eduard. We swap kits and decals.

Eduard D.VII wing

Just to follow up on an earlier observation - a strip of 20 thou strip, between the cabane attachment points, to the leading edge mating surfaces of the top wing helps the Eduard wing match the wing thickness shown in Anthology 3. Otherwise the wing will be too thin seen from the front. Even with this easy mod, it's still not as deep as the Roden wing, but that may be on the thick side.

Thanks Jimaas; An interesting save. Just for clarification this plastic shim is added before the wing halves are united, right?

I took one down just a bit ago and compared it to the Roden kit. Looking at the seat in both kits, the Eduard seems a bit smaller. Neither seat allows for the depth that was added for a parachute pack as a seat cushion.

By the way. If any one wants to trade off their extra fuselage please let me know. I have cast up a couple sets of resin wings and thought to add some details to empty out my spares boxes.

I just red this thread thoroughly. I have just ordered Roden's DVII (Fokker Built late) and I hope the Dutch Aviation MegaStore (earlier known as LuchtVaartHobbySHop), will be able to deliver Eduard's DVII Fokker built very soon. I want to do a duo build. At this time I would like to know if anyone can see improvements or same (small) errors on the Eduard DVII.

Greetings, Nico Teunissen
