At that angle, would Tutscheck be able to see Doyles Spad? To me it looks like the Dr.I is a bit too high or the Spad in too cloce to be sene by Tutscheck.

Now, this is just me so don't take what I say to heart....

The render was more a test than a final test of subject placement.

And looking at it you are probably right, the planes are very close and it would be hard to see the Spad. Infact they would probably have collided soon after this frame was rendered

Actually the point you bring up is one I will keep in mind though......I had not really thought about layout as far as from the pilots perspective.

Again thanks to all that helped with research and helpful comments. Also I would like to thank John Layne for use of his photos to create the background matte painting.

I hope to do more with these two planes.
