I can tell you that 59 Sqn at the time was commanded by Maj CJ Mackay and on 21 Mar 18 they were based at Courcelles le Comte providing Corps duties for British IV Corps of THIRD ARMY(Source HA Jones War in the Air Vol IV) Also Trevor's TSTBF confirms a 2Lt F Naylor in 59 Sqn, but sadly kia on 23 Mar 18.

Kew would also hold the 59 Sqn Squadron Record Book which would confirm the encounter noted. I do actually have a copy of the page for the above noted encounter involving B7722, but it is clear 27 Mar's activities covered further pages. My page also notes the equivilent of three brigades of German troops seen massing for an attack on Albert. This would be 3 Marine Division who were subsequently halted by newly arrived British 12 Division.

The National Archives have quite a lot of documents about 59 Squadron try checking out AIR1/1780 through 1786 . There is also a squadron history in AIR1/693/21/20/59
