Hope that this is of interest. My paternal grandfather was TB Dodwell. Today my uncle lent me TB Dodwell's RNAS 'Observers Flying Log Book' In it he records, amongst other details, the fact that he flew 10 sorties with Wynne-Eyton and they were involved in bombing runs and reconnaisance. They also 'crashed badly' into a field of standing wheat on Aug 7th when the engine failed.
