Hi all
I am interested when the German scored their first Victory on the East(other)Front.
By the material i have today the first known Victory was not until 1 May 1915 when Lt Theodor Schauenburg of FFA 30(FeldFliegerAbteilung) shot down a Russian Monoplane(No other info).
Can this really be true that it took nearly ten months for the German to achieve their first victory on the East front..?
I am interested in all Your sugestions regarding this issue....and also in all the "Five" categories the German usually claimed their victories:
-Air combat
-Ballons
-by Flak
-by Ground fire
-Forced Landings within German lines
Any information regarding possible Russian losses during this period is x-tra welcome..
Thanks in advance
Gunnar
