Fokker DVII (late) oil tank placement?

I hope some of the bright minds here can help me with this...

I'm building a 1/8 scale Fokker D.VII (Fokker built, late model) and I've just finished 3d modeling the oil tank, located at the right side of the engine, from factory drawings. But I have no clear references about its exact placement, only a photo of a crashed DVII with a badly warped nose.

I understand the lower brackets were fixed to the right engine bearer, an the side brackets to the foremost engine bearer top support. But I'm not sure if it was placed along the line of flight or rotated in the same angle as the aforementioned support. Can someone enlighten me?

Also, what was the purpose of the small hook on top of the tank and the small pipe pointing downwards that comes from the side of the tank?
