Ltn Arthur Laumann, Jasta 66

On 9 August this pilot claimed three SPADs in a fight in the Reims area. On the same date one of the Jasta 66 pilots (Uffz Otto Stockmann) was made POW.

The two events may be connected.

I cannot find a connection with any French SPAD escadrilles on this date, was it with a newly-equipped American Squadron?

regards

Keith
