Max von Müller
Some time ago I revisited Rottenburg an der Laaber in Bavaria, Germany.
In this small village the Bavarian ace Max von Müller was born and he was also buried there after being killed over Moorslede whilst on a patrol on 9 January 1918. In attachment some pictures of his grave and the memorial on the wall of the house where he was born in the (nowadays) Max-von-Müllerstrasse. In a local pub I was told there are still living some relatives of him in the village and that his Pour-le-Mérite and other decorations are kept at the townhall.
