For The Manfred Von Ricthhofen Tourist

I'm sure somebody has done this before, but here are Google Earth images of where our favorite baron met his end. The ground view was last updated in July of last year, where the aerial shot comes from 2011. 1. The Field where the triplane came down. The car sitting there is most likely a solitary tourist. In the 2011 shot, there are at least four visitors to the crash site. 2. Across the street sits a French home and behind that stands the famous brick factory chimney. 3. The house that faces out onto the field where MVR died. I wonder what it's like living there? They must be used to all the traffic this otherwise unassuming field attracts. 4. Looking south across the field with the drop-off to the Somme Valley. 5. the aerial view from 2011, with the smokestack and its shadow standing out clearly. All 'n all, it feels like hallowed ground to me, even on Google Earth.
