Unusual Spray Painted Camouflage on Imperial Machine
Gents-
Have you seen this image before? Can you ID the machine type? I also wanted to point out the unusual paint scheme. Last question...what is the significance, if any, of the notation on front? It appears to say "Walfisch-Typ." I was going to guess Hannover CL.IIIa but I think I'm wrong. Notice the unusual interplane struts & the lack of any fly or landing wires. Sorry I don't have a better scan of this right now. The original is en route... -Chuck
