Gentlemen,
Have any of you heard of this gentleman? I bought his book A SOLDIER OF THE SKY, as a pig in a poke and find it to be a bit vague, sensationalist and self serving. I can find no reference to him in ABOVE THE TRENCHES or the earlier Harlyford Air Aces of the 1914-1918 War, in spite of the publishers forward crediting him with nineteen confirmed and numerous unconfirmed.
Is this guy for real? Or is he, as I suspect, someone that got his picture taken sitting in a warplane and published a book on the REAL airwar?
Best regards to all,
Terry
